Roasting Nuts
  1. Roast the pistachios or pine nuts by placing them in a small pan over low heat (dry roast, no oil) for about 5 minutes. Shake the pan regularly until they become lightly toasted in colour and fragrant.
For The Bulgar
  1. Place the bulgar in a small pan and add the warm stock. Bring to the boil then turn down to a very low simmer. With the lid on simmer for 10 to 12 minutes until the liquid has been absorbed. Turn off the heat. Stir through the nuts, chopped herbs, cracked pepper and serve.
